How the Polish market is structured
The Polish list is unusually weighted toward software engineering and marketing services. Alongside third-party firms sits the captive shared service centre sector, which employs far more people than the firms on this list.
Geographic distribution
The market concentrates in Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Poznan and Wroclaw and the Silesian cities. Three Polish cities have placed in the Tholons top 100 outsourcing destinations.
What EU-domiciled delivery changes
For an EU-regulated buyer, an EU-domiciled provider removes the transfer mechanism, adequacy monitoring and standard contractual clauses. GDPR, the EU AI Act, DORA and NIS2 apply to the partner directly.
A selection framework for buyers
Evaluate on four axes: genuine language depth at a confirmed CEFR level; where data is processed and the resulting regulatory risk; sector fit; and the engagement and governance model.
